Lyrics

We're Atlas Soul
Music: Jacques Pardo/ Lyrics: Regie Gibson

We're Atlas Soul and our goal: Musify the planet from equator to the poles (2x)

People often want to know what our music is
Because they dig all of the hip influences
I say "just listen
And resist the labelin'"
But, if they insist I tell them:

"Start with some heavy Funk of Maghrebi
Mix in some Jazz and Rai to get the melody
Throw it in a pot with some Rock and some Hip-Hop
And next thing you know...this is what you've got"

We're Atlas Soul and our goal: Musify the planet from equator to the poles (2x)

This is a night you've come for the fire
Musical heat that'll make you perspire
But you desire to be inspired
And to rise higher, higher, and higher

Decrease your anger
Release your tensions
Through this unique musical intervention
HMMMMMM!? Did I forget to mention
We don't give a damn about your race or religion

Black or you're White or you're Jew or a Christian
Buddhist or Muslim or non-God believin'
We only care that you share this vision:
One world moving in one rhythm

We're Atlas Soul and our goal: Musify the planet from equator to the poles (2x)

So may our souls become reawakened
So we can transcend all of our hatreds
For this to happen, give this a chance:
Love, play, chant, meditate, then dance

May you have love in each and every way
May you find time for yourself just to play
May you learn to chant and learn to meditate
May you find time to dance each and every day

Love, play, chant, meditate, then dance
Love, play, chant, meditate, then dance
Love, play, chant, meditate, then dance
Love, play, chant, meditate, then dance

We're Atlas Soul and our goal: Musify the planet from equator to the poles (2x)
